Review about Monsoon Yoga and Pilates Budapest

Although yoga is the main profile of this studio, they also have a large number of other classes such as BodyArt, Pilates or TRX. The atmosphere of the place is very laid-back and friendly. A wonderful addition is the environment by which it is surrounded: it is a real yoga refuge! If you live in the city center and are willing to make the trip deep into Buda, you will be surrounded by beautiful greenery. This yoga studio in Hungary was obviously used as an apartment, meaning it is nice and homey. During sunny warm days, the balcony doors open onto a breath-taking old terrace, and the sunlight fills the room. In other words: it is the perfect way to do some hatha yoga, for example,  and feel close to nature.

Don’t expect anything too extravagant: it is a clean, quasi-modern place with no over-the-top decorations. It is simple in a good way, and charming. The locker rooms are not too huge either, so make sure you give yourself time to change with calm when you arrive and before you leave.

Another yoga studio in Hungary, where some of the teachers are also the owners

The teachers/owners of Monsoon Yoga Studio Budapest  are infinitely friendly and helpful when you arrive to the place. They explain everything to you and you are treated with kindness and humility, making you feel right at home, even if you are brand new here. One small point is that reactions via Facebook messages are a bit slow (so if you have something pressing to ask, it’s better to call.)

Monsoon Yoga also offers private yoga classes in Budapest from one to three people. However, having your own space is calculated at high-high prices! So, unless you can’t stand other people around you, it’s much more wallet-friendly to do the yoga exercises as a part of the community. The community is pretty mixed, fortunately. There are people of all genders and age groups (such as seniors and teenagers), so you can feel comfortable even if you are a newbie. You will not stand out. Instructors will help you practice the right forms and learn the correct breathing. All you have to pay attention to is yourself and how you can benefit from the things they teach you. Other than that, just breathe in the fresh Buda air and enjoy the classes!

Note: if you don’t have a yoga mat or you forget it at home, you can rent one for 200 HUF!
