Review about Asram Yoga Buda
Set up in a spacious apartment, you can see that the initial purpose of this place was not to be a yoga studio in Budapest. However, something has to be said for the nice location and environment. You can find it in the Buda hills, so you can be sure that there is much more greenery around than in the city center!
The studio itself has a familiar atmosphere, nothing too high-tech or modern. The people who you will meet here are friendly and helpful. You will see for yourself, they are not really for the outer shell, or looks, which is refreshing. As they say, their belief is to help people find themselves through yoga and to spread the knowledge (they don’t shy away, for example, from offering yoga exercises at Sziget Festival…) As a result, it doesn’t matter what type of yoga clothes you show up in, or what level your knowledge is.
Finding yourself seems easier at this yoga studio in Budapest
As a result of this motto, you can be sure that any type of class you choose (prenatal yoga, Hatha, birth pose yoga, tai chi, dynamic etc.), you will receive the best possible guidance to be able to properly practise the given class. This doesn’t mean that if you are a beginner, they will constantly be there correcting you – rather, they will provide you with gentle guidance so you don’t tense up.
Asram Yoga Studio also emphasises the importance of meditation as a means to find your inner center. Because of this, they have numerous classes offering some of the best techniques to clear your mind. If you have always had trouble with meditating, be sure to check out one of their classes because the instructors really know how to guide you past your doubts. They always remind you to take it easy and to advance forward in your own pace. Applying too much pressure on yourself is a no-no, which is a great way to get into the mindset.
Apart from the numerous classes, you can also find workshops that promote the yoga lifestyle: Indian cooking, preparation for bringing a child into the world and breastfeeding, a school for parents, eye yoga, Hellinger Family Constellations, trance dance courses etc. In other words, the things you might need to calm your inner self-image and help self-healing.
As a part of letting you get to know one of the friendliest yoga spots in Hungary, you can buy a trial pass that is valid for ten days and five occasions. Use it for any one and a half hour class, try out the different types and get used to the yogic lifestyle!
